ZIP was born from necessity. A double shoulder injury in my sophomore year ended my goal of playing professionally in the States. When the doctors said it was over, I had to rebuild, and ZIP became that purpose.
Eighteen months on, ZIP is a New Venture Creation finalist at UMW, an Eagle Innovation Award winner, and ships to former teammates across college programmes throughout the US. Drop 00 was field-tested at Division I level and worn in the top tier of Major League Rugby before a single pair was available to the public.
One American founder. One vision. Max brings together a background in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Graphic Design, alongside three summers working with Rangers FC and WELOVESALES in Glasgow, to build a brand rooted in the rugby philosophy of speed and performance.
